About THRIV3 Training and Courses

THRIV3 is a proudly Aboriginal-led Indigenous Corporation, registered charity and not-for-profit, based in Trangie, New South Wales. We deliver nationally recognised training and community programs across rural, regional and remote Australia.

We train everyone. First Nations and non-First Nations. Young people starting out, workers upskilling, volunteers keeping their community safe, and organisations that need their people qualified and ready.

Everything we deliver is community-led, culturally grounded, and built to a standard that holds up under audit, scrutiny and time.

Who we are

THRIV3 (Indigenous Corporation) is incorporated under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 and regulated by the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations. Our Rule Book requires an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander majority of members and directors, so control of THRIV3 sits with First Nations people. We are a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, ICN 10165 and ABN 90 515 247 153.

THRIV3 is culturally grounded in Wiradjuri Country and walks with all Nations across Australia. We are led by Aboriginal people, accountable to community, and built so the value we create stays with the people and Country we serve.

We believe in action, not just words. We walk alongside our communities to build confidence, cultural connection and long-term capability.

Why we train

Everyone carries knowledge that has value. The Elder who knows the land. The farmer who has run a station for forty years. The local who has fixed every engine in town. The young person who knows the language. That knowledge is real, and under the Australian training system it can be formally recognised.

Our job is to turn knowledge into qualifications, qualifications into jobs, and jobs into career pathways. Knowledge moves both ways. We deliver training, and we learn from cultural, lived and local knowledge, then use it to shape how our training is designed, delivered and assessed.

Where your money goes

THRIV3 is not for profit. We have no private shareholders and we pay no dividends.

Every payment we receive for training, facilitation or program delivery goes back into our charitable purpose: building capability, creating jobs and qualifications, strengthening culture, and keeping programs running in communities that too often get skipped. Our trainers and facilitators volunteer their time, and no wages or salaries are drawn from training payments.

This is how the cycle works. We train our people. Our people deliver. Real delivery teaches us what works. We share that training and expertise with others. What we earn is reinvested, and the cycle starts again, stronger.

We are committed to full financial transparency. As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation and a registered charity, we report to our members, to the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations, and to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Our books are independently audited.
